After a long wet winter, Boomer’s Legacy BC training rides are about to begin. Last year’s ride leader Paul Healey has confirmed the first ride of the year will be Saturday March 5th (weather permitting). Please note that these rides will leave the old Safeway parking lot (17th and Cliffe, opposite the Best Western Hotel) at 8:30am and will head off on a different pre-planned route each weekend. The first ride of the year is usually 20 to 30 kilometers in length and will build up each week, leading to a final training ride of over 120 kilometers.
For more information, you can email Paul directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you get in touch with Paul, he will set up a list of riders and pass along route ideas and other rider information. These rides are “no-drop” rides! Riders go out together and come back together – unless leaving the group is pre-planned somewhere along the route.
Plans are underway to arrange training rides in Campbell River as well.
